Full-grain. Pebbled. Oil-rich. Wax-charged. Briar Heart is a veg-re-tanned hide for makers who want texture & detail. Vac-dried for a clean flesh side and left honest — fat wrinkles, range marks, and heel scratches fully visible. Lighter sides show more of it's story.

Full Grain (Highest grade of the hide): Natural surface intact — no sanding, no correction, all genuine character.

Tannage (How it was tanned): Chrome base, veg re-tanned for added body, color depth, edge quality (easier burnishing), and light molding.

5–5.5 oz (≈ 2.0–2.2 mm)

Temper (How soft or firm it feels): Light–medium

Struck Through (How deep the dye goes): Yes — color penetrates instead of sitting only on top.
